Ordering Photos
The stock of artworks held by the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen is documented in some 20.000 black and white photos as well as a large number of colour photos in high definition for reproduction purposes.

TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE GALLERIES
Taking photographs – exclusively for private use – is permitted in the following galleries of the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen (Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek, Pinakothek der Moderne, Museum Brandhorst, Sammlung Schack and branch galleries in Bavaria) without flash and tripod.

Reproduction permission granted by the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen or commissioned organisations refers only to the ordered photo. Copyright of the artwork – particularly where Modern and Contemporary Art is concerned – must be clarified in each individual case for publication! This applies also to privately taken photographs in the event of publication.
